We recommend registering your Kress tool before booking a repair, as eligible DC / cordless power tools qualify for the extended 3-year warranty coverage when registered within 30 days of purchase.
Registering your Kress tool helps you get the most from your warranty and makes it easier to keep your product information on record.
Before registering, please have the following information ready:
- Proof of purchase: Your tax invoice showing the purchase date, invoice number, and retailer
- Product details: Model and serial number of your Kress tool
Tools purchased online are automatically registered and will appear in your account.
You can still book a repair if your tool has not been registered, but registering first is recommended if you want to benefit from the extended warranty coverage available on eligible DC / cordless power tools.
Product registration is optional. Not registering will not affect your statutory rights.

Power Tools:
A 3 (three) year warranty period applies to all AC (electrical) and DC (cordless skins) products from the date of purchase, except for accessories and consumables
DC / Cordless Power Tools:
KRESS will extend the warranty period for tool skins by 1 (one) year to a total of 3 (three) years from the date of purchase of the product, upon warranty registration within 30 days of purchase.

Batteries / Chargers:
A 2 (two) year warranty period applies to all batteries and chargers from the date of purchase.
Laser Measurers:
A 1 (one) year warranty period applies to all laser measurers from the date of purchase.
